The property is located  3km from the fishing community of Baltimore, 7km from the Market town of Skibbereen, 1.5km from the unique marine habitat of Lough Ine and 3km from the nearest sandy beach.

The main house, dairy and holiday cottage are of a traditional stone build and have been renovated by the present owner to a very high standard, whilst retaining the features of a period Cork dwelling. The house has oil-fired central heating.  There is a telephone line, mains electricity and water, and a septic tank.

The site covers approximately 4.5 acres and is fully stock-proofed. There is one large animal house, two smaller ones and a twin poultry house. The milking parlour and dairy has a covered yard to the rear. There is an un-made driveway to the front leading to a gravel yard & parking  area to the rear, between the house and holiday cottage. For details on the two homes go to The Property page .

There are a great deal of places to visit and things to do in West Cork, with excellent music and entertainment offered. People travel from around the world to attend events such as McCarthy's fiddle fair. To find out more visit the Links To Other Sites page on this site and take a look at what Cork has to offer.
